Post-doctoral candidate at Technical University of Munich

We are looking for a post-doctoral candidate to work on a project related to methane reforming with H2S. The candidate will build a plug flow reactor and perform kinetic measurements and various characterization techniques.

The candidate should have a PhD degree with good marks and sufficient knowledge in the field of catalysis, specifically in the fields of kinetics, synthesis and/or characterization of solid catalytic materials. The candidate must have good English speaking and writing skills, enthusiasm for fundamental science, interactive skills and the ability to think and work creatively. The search will continue until 30th of November.

Candidates interested in the position are encouraged to submit your CV, personal motivation and two names of references to Johannes Lercher at TUM, Department of Chemistry (johannes.lercher@tum.de). In case of questions, do not hesitate to call (+49-89-28913540).

Post-doctoral candidate at Technical University of Munich

We have openings for highly motivated doctoral and post-doctoral scholars to work on one of the following subjects: Oxidative chemical reactions of methane, selective oxidation of alkanes, C-C coupling reactions in microporous materials and NOx reduction in small pore zeolites. The candidate will focus on mechanistic studies, performing kinetics studies and various in situ characterization (in situ vibrational and solid-state NMR spectroscopy, calorimetry, X-ray absorption spectroscopy and electron microscopy).

The candidate should have a master or PhD degree with excellent marks and in-depth knowledge in the field of catalysis, specifically in the fields of kinetics, synthesis and/or characterization of microporous materials, complex oxides and supported metals. The candidate must have very good English speaking and writing skills, enthusiasm for fundamental science, interactive skills and the ability to think and work creatively.
